David belongs to the following professional organizations: American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Arapahoe County Bar Association, Southeast Metro Law Club, Big Brothers of America, Naval Reserve Association, Naval Institute, Navy League, Reserve Officers Association, Jewish War Veterans, Navy Divers Association and National Association of Fleet Tug Sailors. He is also on the Board of Directors for Western Welcome Week, Inc., and very active in SERTOMA, a international service organization. Since retiring from the U.S. Naval Reserve, he has remained active in the Naval Reserve Association and the Blue & Gold Program with the U.S. Naval Academy, and the SeaPower Program.
